VP - Corporate Finance

Job description:

• Lead the reporting of financial results to the CEO, providing strategic insights and recommendations to inform high-level decision-making
• Develop and execute the group's corporate finance strategy to align with the overall business objectives
• Provide financial analysis and guidance for new programmes, projects, and systems, including costing and budgeting
• Lead long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and value creation strategies
• Oversee capital structure, debt management, and equity financing
• Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes to align financial planning with company objectives
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and market trends
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
• Oversee internal controls related to financial activities
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting career growth and a high-performance culture
• Execute delegated tasks and initiatives from the CEO, supporting strategic priorities and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related roles
• Deep understanding of financial markets, valuation, and corporate finance principles
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with experience engaging senior management, investors and external advisors
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and financial systems
