Job Description

The Vice President, Business Change Manager is a senior role within Global Collateral (GC) Operations, responsible for driving and enabling complex business and infrastructure change impacting the day‑to‑day running of the platform.

Operating as a senior Operations representative and Subject Matter Expert, this role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Technology, Client teams, and Operations stakeholders to ensure change initiatives are well‑defined, appropriately prioritised, delivered with discipline, and embedded sustainably within GC Operations.

The role requires a strong enterprise mindset, balancing operational excellence, risk management, client impact, and strategic outcomes, while influencing across a matrixed organisation.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Act as a Business Change Manager for initiatives impacting Global Collateral Operations, including business process, infrastructure, platform, and operating model changes
  • Represent GC Operations as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with operational needs
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support business requirements modelling, refinement, and documentation
  • Ensure appropriate prioritisation of requests, balancing operational risk, client impact, and strategic objectives
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and delivery teams to track progress and ensure outcomes meet expectations
  • Prepare and support implementation and operational readiness, including handover, training, and process adoption
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, automation, and process enhancements
  • Support non‑standard service requests and complex operational queries as required
  • Act as an SME for new processes, products, and services, supporting controlled rollout and adoption
  • Facilitate effective communication between Operations, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders

Technical & Digital Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong interest and capability in AI and digital tools light coding or automation experience is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and apply technology‑enabled solutions to operational challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Project or change management certification and/or experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in collateral management, custody, or securities‑related operations preferred
  • Working knowledge of enterprise custody and collateral management platforms is strongly preferred
