QA Analyst (UAT & RPA Automation) (Private Bank)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with our client, a leading financial services organization, to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst (UAT Functional & RPA Automation – UiPath) based in Singapore.
• This role sits within the COO Office – Platforms & Integration team and focuses on delivering high-quality testing and validation across trading platforms and order management systems. You will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance across the trade lifecycle, including front office trading, core banking integration, and downstream systems.
• You will play a critical role in ensuring system stability and release readiness by executing functional UAT, managing defect cycles, and driving test automation initiatives using UiPath. Working closely with business users, product owners, technology teams, and RPA specialists, you will help ensure robust, compliant, and efficient trading system delivery across the organization.

The Talent

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QA/UAT testing roles within banking or financial services
• Strong experience in trading platform testing, covering end-to-end trade lifecycle processes
• Hands-on experience with order management systems and trade processing (booking, execution, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations)
• Experience in core banking UAT and system upgrade testing is preferred
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks, ideally UiPath, is a strong advantage
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, including BDD and regression testing
• Good understanding of Agile principles and software development/testing methodologies
• Proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking, test management, and reporting
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in wealth management or private banking environments
• Exposure to RPA development or automation testing using UiPath
• Experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria
• Relevant testing or QA certifications

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of trading and order management systems through structured UAT execution and test automation. You will support both functional testing and automation initiatives to ensure seamless end-to-end trade processing across integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements for trading platforms and order management systems
• Design, prepare, and execute detailed UAT test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Ensure end-to-end validation of trade lifecycle workflows including initiation, validation, routing, execution, amendments, cancellations, and settlements
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new releases
• Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects with technology teams for resolution
• Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Participate in UAT planning and execution for system enhancements and upgrades (including core banking integration initiatives)
• Analyse functional specifications, business requirements, and impact assessments
• Validate integration across front office, core banking, and downstream systems
• Ensure accuracy of trade processing, accounting entries, and reconciliations
• Support test automation strategy using UiPath
• Design and develop automated test flows for regression and functional testing
• Validate bot logic, decision workflows, system integrations, and exception handling
• Ensure automation outputs align with business rules, compliance, and expected outcomes
• Support end-to-end automation testing across release cycles
• Work closely with business users, product owners, developers, and QA teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
