Position
As the Visual Merchandising Manager, South Asia, you will partner closely with regional and local leadership to translate global visual strategies into commercially impactful, brand-elevating store experiences.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the adaptation and execution of global visual strategies to drive business performance and brand positioning across South Asia
- Serve as the key VM voice in strategic retail planning, store development, client experience initiatives and cross-functional business reviews
- Oversee and manage the implementation of global creative and VM standards, ensuring luxury excellence while delivering market-relevant, bespoke client experiences
- Manage regional creative production processes, including creative briefs, layout plans, product placement, and close liaison with HQ VM teams
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams such as Client Marketing & Events, Retail, Merchandising, Operations, Retail and Store Planning to align visual initiatives with broader brand objectives
- Drive regional VM operational efficiency by identifying needs, developing scalable solutions, and introducing innovative ways of working
- Design and deliver visual training programs for Retail teams and In-store VM teams
- Create a regular visit schedule to retail boutiques to identify training opportunities, establishing best practices, onboarding frameworks, and visual standards across the network
- Act as the field communication lead and provide structured feedback from the markets
Profile
- Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in Visual Merchandising
- Regional leadership experience in luxury retail or fashion house
- High proficiency in Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key decision-makers
- Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to translate brand identity into compelling in-store experiences with commercial impact
- Demonstrated capability to lead large-scale, multi-market projects concurrently
- Highly organized and detailed oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with frequent international travel across the region
