The PR People is an integrated agency with expertise in public relations, events and social media. As a business, we play firmly in the beauty and fashion space, helping our clients in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to tell rich brand stories in innovative and impactful ways.
We are currently looking for a video content creator under our social media team, The Social People. This role is best suited for someone who is passionate about creating content and telling stories through video, both behind and in front of the camera.
This role will see you work with our portfolio of beauty and lifestyle clients to produce a wide variety of video assets from ad creatives to event videos and social media short videos.
What you'll do:
- Plan, produce and edit engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram (This includes starring in the videos)
- Conceptualise and develop engaging video content to meet client objectives and timelines
- Monitor and pitch trending content from social media and translate them into original creative content ideas to meet client objectives
What you'll need:
- Professional or personal experience with creating engaging videos for Instagram and TikTok
- Creative eye and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong portfolio to showcase your best work
- Photography, videography and mobile video editing skills
- Proficiency in using CapCut or other relevant video editing tools
- Must be comfortable in front of the camera
- An outgoing personality, strong communication and an attention to detail
- A love for beauty, skincare, makeup, fashion and lifestyle brands
- A knowledge and understanding of social media and popular culture trends
- Can deliver high-quality work that meets and exceeds expectations.
- A team player who communicates effectively and contributes positively to group projects and collaborates seamlessly alongside other team members.
Preferred but not required:
- (Some) skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or any other advanced video editing softwares
- Basic motion graphics skills are a bonus!
- Good understanding of photography and videography lighting
- Skills in stylized photography and videography
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience in using generative AI tools
- Ability to animate or create GIFs
