Our client is a well-established global financial group with a strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region. They are seeking a Vice President, Strategic Investment to support long-term investment initiatives. The Singapore office plays a key strategic role in building scalable business platforms, with a focus beyond traditional financial sponsor investing.
【 Responsibilities 】
- Conduct strategic fit assessments and initial screening of investment opportunities
- Build detailed financial models, projections, and valuation analyses
- Prepare high-quality Investment Committee materials and senior management reports
- Work closely with HQ on due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and execution
- Lead or support end-to-end transaction processes, including closing
- Drive post-investment monitoring and value creation initiatives (PMI)
- Identify synergies across group platforms and support business-building initiatives
- Maintain strong market intelligence and develop regional networks
【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Private Equity (buy-side), Investment Firms (buy-side), Corporate Development (in-house), or Big 4, with hands-on experience in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Due Diligence
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Experience in cross-border transactions
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivering outcomes
(Advantageous)
- Experience in deal origination or business development
- Interest in long-term value creation and platform development
