Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to maximize asset performance and work with country and property teams to formulate action plans with respect to optimising profit and capital expenditure management
  • Prepare asset plans, budgets and periodic forecasts for management's approval and perform variance analyses
  • Oversee development and asset enhancement initiatives from owners perspective from start to completion.
  • Implement leasing initiatives and build good working relationships with tenants
  • Conduct regular hold-sell analyses for the assets under management and evaluate asset pricing against market benchmarks
  • Implement asset divestments including working with third party consultants, preparing divestment memorandums and transaction documentation
  • Prepare quarterly reports and other information for investors reporting
  • Maintain asset cashflow models and undertake scenario analyses
  • Review asset valuations and procure asset related insurances
  • Introduce ESG related initiatives, oversee submissions for GRESB, sustainability certifications and other reports
  • Support fund-raising including preparation of marketing materials and due diligence responses
  • Have a good understanding of the education market through research and market intelligence, keeping current on competitive and regulatory landscape and best practices

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The role offers hands-on involvement of the asset management processes.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial and analytical skills with commercial acumen and stakeholders engagement contributing to the delivery of maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the investors.

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or equivalent from a good university
  • At least 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in asset management or investments in the real estate industry. Exposure to development, asset enhancement works and education sector is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation
  • Good people management, teamwork and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, willing to learn and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
