Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President, Liquidity & Financial Operations to lead global cash flow optimisation, credit risk, and financial operations for a leading Global MNC. This senior role will shape the company's financial resilience by driving liquidity strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring robust credit and risk management across multiple markets.

The Opportunity

As VP, you will be responsible for safeguarding the organisation's cash position while supporting business growth. You'll oversee liquidity planning, billing and collections, and accounts payable management, partnering with senior stakeholders across sales, operations, procurement, product, and legal functions to balance risk discipline with commercial momentum.

Key responsibilities

  • Liquidity & Cash Flow Leadership - Manage cash flow forecasting, DSO/DPO optimisation, and liquidity reporting. Provide insights and funding requirements to Treasury.
  • Credit Risk & Policy Management - Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial and industry analysis set and enforce global credit policies monitor debt exposure.
  • Customer Due Diligence & Collections - Lead background checks and legitimacy reviews for new clients. Oversee overdue accounts and collaborate with collections teams to minimise bad debts.
  • Billing & Invoicing Control - Ensure timely, accurate invoicing and accountability of regional teams to WIP billing and reduction targets.
  • Accounts Payable & Outflows - Drive efficient AP processes, manage payments, and ensure compliance with international trade and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Monitoring & Reporting - Produce reports on credit exposure, liquidity positions, and emerging risks, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Finance Leadership - Lead a Finance team regionally and be responsible for KPI setting, policy frameworks, and building a high-performance culture.
  • Automation & Process Improvement - Collaborate with SVP Finance to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Influence - Act as a key advisor to senior leaders on cash flow, liquidity, and financial operations.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience with deep expertise in liquidity management, working capital, treasury, and credit risk.
  • Exposure in a progressive MNC with global footprint and international trade strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing global or regional finance operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a track record of process optimisation.
  • Skilled at stakeholder management and influencing at the executive level.
