Role Overview
As Senior Finance Manager at a fast-growing financial advisory firm , you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance function , covering accounting, consolidation, regulatory reporting , and financial planning . This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting the firm's growth and operational integrity. You will ensure full compliance with Singapore's financial regulations (IRAS, GST, ACRA, MAS), deliver timely financial reporting, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. This role requires a self-starter who can operate independently, balancing technical excellence with commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Control
- Manage full set of accounts and monthly financial close across group entities.
- Perform group consolidation and prepare management reports and financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory reports with IRAS , GST , and ACRA .
- Oversee MAS regulatory reporting , including annual returns and financial submissions.
- Strengthen internal controls and maintain strong governance and risk management practices.
- Coordinate annual external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax agents.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across business units.
- Monitor and reconcile actuals vs budget/forecast, analyzing variances and trends.
- Provide insights into business unit profitability, cost allocations, and contribution margins.
- Support scenario planning and strategic decision-making with financial modeling and analysis.
- Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Work closely with the Distribution, Compliance, and Operations teams to support key initiatives.
- Translate financial data into commercial insights to optimize business performance.
- Support campaign evaluation, incentive structures, and strategic resource planning.
- Prepare board packs and internal performance presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Compliance, Governance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, corporate, and regulatory frameworks in Singapore.
- Maintain updated finance policies, documentation, and process workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across finance operations.
- Support system enhancements, data integrity efforts, and operational scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance , or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification: CA, CPA, or ACCA required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in financial services or advisory firms.
- Solid understanding of Singapore's statutory and tax requirements (IRAS, GST, ACRA).
- Experience with MAS financial and regulatory reporting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in group consolidation , audit coordination , and financial compliance .
- Strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Able to work independently and confidently engage senior stakeholders.

- Working knowledge of financial dashboards, reporting tools, and automation platforms.
- Exposure to performance-based compensation models or multi-entity structures.
