This role offers an opportunity to help shape the future direction of one of Asia's leading financial services organisations.
As the VP Distribution Strategy & Development, you will work closely with the GEFA CEO and senior leadership team to define strategic priorities, identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives that create long-term value for customers, employees and shareholders.
Working across businesses and functions, you will help translate strategic priorities into tangible outcomes by aligning stakeholders, challenging conventional thinking and driving execution of initiatives that enhance business performance and organisational effectiveness.
As customer expectations evolve and emerging technologies continue to reshape industries, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, data and innovation to strengthen decision-making, unlock productivity and build future-ready capabilities across GEFA.

Strategic Leadership, Growth & Transformation
• Shape and drive the GEFA's strategic agenda, translating long-term ambitions into measurable business outcomes.
• Lead strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and business planning activities that strengthen growth, competitiveness and organisational effectiveness.
• Identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and future business models, partnering leaders across the organisation to unlock value and drive sustainable growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the GEFA CEO and senior leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on strategic priorities, enterprise performance and transformation opportunities.
Enterprise Alignment & Execution
• Influence and align senior stakeholders across businesses and functions to deliver strategic priorities and organisational outcomes.
• Establish governance, reporting and decision-making frameworks that strengthen accountability, execution excellence and enterprise-wide alignment.
• Foster collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups, translating strategy into action through disciplined execution and change leadership.
AI, Innovation & Future-Ready Capabilities
• Identify how AI, data and emerging technologies can enhance decision-making, customer experiences and business performance.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enabled, data-driven and innovative ways of working that create sustainable competitive advantage.

• Possess a Degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Management, Actuarial Science, Accountancy or related disciplines.
• At least 12–15 years of relevant experience in strategy, transformation, business planning, corporate development, distribution strategy, consulting or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading strategic, transformation, business growth or capability-building initiatives within complex organisations.
• Understand how to translate strategic direction into measurable business outcomes and organisational impact.
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance growth opportunities, customer needs, operational realities and risk considerations.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives in matrix environments.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities supported by data and business insights.
• Successfully led organisational transformation, business improvement, commercial growth, operating model redesign or capability-building initiatives that delivered tangible results.
• Experience working within financial services, insurance, consulting or other customer-centric industries.
• Demonstrate an understanding of distribution-led businesses, customer acquisition models and growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation and advanced analytics, are reshaping business models and competitive dynamics.
• Intellectually curious and able to identify practical applications of AI and technology that create meaningful business value.
• Experience leading or supporting digital transformation, technology-enabled business initiatives or AI-driven programmes.
• Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, accountability and results orientation.
• Thrive in environments that require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
