Position Summary
As a member of the Management team, you will be responsible for operations and management decision for Asia East Mediterranean Trade and its market expansion. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver business results in alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive operational strategy for the AEM Trade in the Northern Suez Canal to achieve growth, profitability, and market leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the AEM Trade
- Manage P&L responsibilities, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop departmental heads and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and high performance
- Make informed decisions on resource allocation, capital expenditures, process improvements, and strategic investments
- Ensure compliance with local laws, safety, environmental, and quality standards in the region
- Monitor operational feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
- Serve as a liaison with stakeholders-internal and external-to drive collaboration and success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or business unit management
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and a strong track record of meeting financial and operational targets
- Deep understanding of market dynamics north of the Suez Canal-including regulatory, logistical, and cultural considerations.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence, and scalability.
