Vice President, Aerospace Engineering & Manufacturing

The Vice President of Precision Manufacturing (Aerospace) will hold overall P&L and operational accountability for our primary manufacturing facilities. You will direct plant management, production scheduling, advanced tooling implementation, and workforce planning. This role requires an executive leader capable of modernizing shop-floor execution through advanced automation, zero-defect quality systems, and rigorous cost discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Production Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute multi-year manufacturing operational strategies to meet master production schedules, delivery milestones, and revenue targets.
• Operational P&L Management: Drive financial performance across all manufacturing operations by controlling direct/indirect labor costs, overhead, and scrap rates to maximize EBITDA.
• Advanced Capacity Planning: Evaluate plant capacity and lead capital expenditure (CapEx) initiatives for high-precision CNC equipment, advanced tooling, and dynamic automation systems.
• Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Enforce rigorous compliance with global aerospace and defense regulatory standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA, and ITAR requirements.
• Continuous Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma): Champion enterprise-wide continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, 8D, Value Stream Mapping) to minimize cycle times and lower cost-of-poor-quality (COPQ).
• Shop-Floor Modernization: Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives by integrating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for real-time tracking and decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Supply Chain Alignment: Partner with procurement and supply chain leadership to streamline raw material flow, vendor sub-processing, and inventory turnover.
• EHS & Zero-Incident Safety: Establish and maintain zero-incident Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies across all facilities, ensuring total adherence to OSHA and ISO 14001 standards.
• Executive & Client Reporting: Present operational metrics, capacity forecasts, and risk-mitigation strategies to C-suite executive leadership, board members, and major client auditors.

Job Requirements:

• Min12+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in executive or director-level roles managing multi-site precision machining, composite, or assembly operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
• Deep, practical command of civil aviation production certificates (FAA Part 21/145, EASA), AS9100 quality frameworks, and defense export controls (ITAR/EAR).
• Proven mastery in managing multi-axis CNC machining, composite layups, NDT, and enterprise ERP/MES platforms.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt with a documented track record of transforming complex manufacturing workflows.
• Comfortable working at East region of Singapore.
