Job Responsibilities
Provide training consultancy to internal divisions, partner organisations, and community stakeholders on the design and development of capability-building programmes
Lead competency reviews for targeted learner groups and drive the development of frameworks and training roadmaps aligned with organisational goals
Oversee the review, enhancement, and development of training programmes to meet evolving stakeholder and community needs
Guide and coach faculty members to foster a growth mindset, continuous learning, and effective change management practices
Stay abreast of emerging trends in adult learning and training methodologies, and integrate relevant practices into programme design and delivery
Oversee training operations, including resource planning, course scheduling, and outreach to ensure timely and relevant programme delivery
Develop faculty capabilities in key focus areas to strengthen programme delivery and align with competency frameworks
Build and maintain partnerships with internal teams, training institutes, and external organisations to enhance leadership and community development initiatives
Lead cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives to support long-term organisational strategy
Supervise and guide staff in prioritising initiatives, while supporting performance management, career development, and capability building
Drive departmental planning, including annual work plans, performance reviews, and strategic goal setting
Represent the institution in cross-functional committees, taskforces, and workstreams, support ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership
Job Requirements / Competencies
Degree or professional qualifications in Adult Learning, Training & Development, Social Sciences, or related fields
Minimum 10 years of experience in a management, training, or learning & development environment
Strong understanding of community and social development sectors
Customer- and stakeholder-focused, with the ability to anticipate needs and drive service improvements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
Proven ability in planning, organising, and driving initiatives across functions
Effective team leader with the ability to motivate, develop, and build high-performing teams
Strong facilitation, engagement, and stakeholder management skills
Strong Advantage
Certifications such as ACTA, ACLP, DACE, or DDDLP
Experience in adult learning facilitation and training programme design/development
Practical experience working within community and social development sectors
