As an Valve Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling valves, including all required preparation and sub-assembly work, to the highest quality standards using approved manufacturing procedures.
• Interpreting written specifications, Manufacturing instructions, and use of standard measuring instruments.
• Using small hand tools, operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, pallet handlers
• Participating in team based improvement activities to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Performing valve final inspection to the respective procedure, troubleshoot and resolve valve leakage issues.
• Adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety policy 5S and other requirements relating to care of equipment and P.P.E

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an ITE technical qualifications preferably in mechanical engineering or its equivalent.
• Have experience in mechanical testing in an assembly / production / industrial environment.
• Have past valve assembly & test experience will be an added advantage.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office software to generate test reports and general computer skills to perform valve calibration.
• Have 5-8 yrs experience in mechanical manufacturing , knowledge in machining
