Job Description

The Valuation Advisor plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service, performing sales and loan transactions, and accurately valuing customers items. This role supports daily store operations, maintains inventory and store presentation, and contributes to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service across in-store and digital channels.
  • Evaluate and value items accurately for loans, trade-ins, and sales.
  • Conduct sales of jewellery, gold, branded watches, and leather goods.
  • Communicate policies clearly and build trust with customers.
  • Achieve sales targets using effective selling techniques.
  • Provide after-sales support and valuation services.

Operations & Inventory

  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
  • Support inventory management, stock handling, and stock-taking.
  • Handle payments and transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Contact customers regarding expiring loan tickets.

Team Support & Training

  • Guide and support team members in achieving sales targets.
  • Assist in on-the-job training for newly certified team members.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance valuation and operational skills.

Requirement

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent, with min 3 years of experience in pawnbroking or valuation-related environments
  • Customer-focused and sales-driven, with good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
