You play an important role in designing internal platforms, including knowledge management systems, chatbots, and document repositories. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, enhancing and maintaining user experiences that support our organisation's knowledge management and operational needs, such as the chatbot, document repository system and structured data catalogue.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct qualitative (e.g., interviews, contextual enquiries) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, analytics) studies synthesise insights into personas, journey maps, and design recommendations.
- Create storyboards, diagrams, wireframes, high fidelity visual mock-ups, prototypes, etc to communicate design strategies and interaction behaviours.
- Propose design decisions that are desirable for users, viable for the business and feasible technically.
- Design the overall structure and behaviour of the system, including information flows and workflows.
- Test and refine the product through evaluative research and user testing, ensuring that the designs meet users requirements.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to align design solutions with functional requirements.
- Design and produce interactive, multimedia materials to support broader EKD's communication and engagement activities (e.g., infographics, eDMs, event collaterals, videos that raise awareness and strengthen branding/reputation).
What we are looking for
- Creative, independent and proficient individual in research, design, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, UAT and product management.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience who possess strong capabilities in both graphic design and UX/UI design
- Experience in user research and prototyping, and strong communication skills. Experience with design methodologies such as Agile and Design Thinking is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Figma and other UX/UI software and tools. Experience in vibe-coding / vibe-prototyping (using GenAI for rapid, iterative low-fidelity prototyping) is an advantage.
- Training in design discipline/methodology (e.g. Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field or equivalent practical experience such as Agile (Scrum), Design Thinking, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Regular usage of Large Language Models (LLMs) and application into work projects is an advantage. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders successfully.
- Strong team player with excellent organisation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex situations.
- Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated individual with a drive to innovate and achieve business goals.
