TRUCK DRIVER

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks (Class 4/5) to pick up and deliver goods to designated locations safely and on time.

• Conduct daily pre-operational checks on the vehicle and report any issues promptly to the controller

• Assist with the loading and unloading of concrete, ensuring all items are secured properly and handled with care.

• Plan efficient routes using navigation systems (GPS/Waze) to manage tight schedules and avoid delays.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption, completing all necessary paperwork (e.g., delivery orders, logbooks).

• Adhere strictly to all Land Transport Authority (LTA) road safety rules and regulations.

• Provide professional and courteous customer service during interactions at delivery points.

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites on time.

• Ensure proper loading, mixing, and discharging of concrete.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.

• Wash and clean the mixer drum, chute, and hopper after each delivery.

• Follow site safety requirements (PPE, traffic rules, speed limits)

• Able to work in Shifts

Requirements

• Valid Class 4/5 driving licensewith a clean driving record.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant driving experience, with familiarity with Singapore roads.

• Strong time management and punctuality skills.

• Good communication skills ability to understand basic English (bilingual is a plus to liaise with local customers).

• Physical fitness to handle cargo and perform loading/unloading tasks.

• Defensive driving skills and strong safety awareness are highly valued
