Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
• Keeping and transmitting complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet
• Coordinate and manage drivers, vehicles, loads, and journeys
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation laws and regulations
• Resolve problems regarding transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues
• Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations
• Monitoring driver qualifications and training to ensure all drivers understand and adhere to safety procedures
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and assigning vehicle repair and maintenance duties
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss any logistic issues

Job Requirements

• experience as a Transportation Manager, Logistics Manager or similar role
• Solid knowledge of supply chain management and understanding of transportation laws
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Degree in Business, Logistics or a related field will be a plus
