Design the Future of Hi-Reliability Semiconductors at Zero-Error Systems
Where innovation is built to last - and every chip, every idea, and every person matters.
Zero-Error Systems (ZES) provides high-reliability semiconductor integrated circuits (ICs)/electronic modules and reliability testing services that enable higher functionality, lower cost, longer lifetime and higher power efficiency for space, and various power management applications such as IOT/Automotive.
Why Join Us
- Work on high-reliability ICs for Space/Satellites, Data Centers, automotive, and mission-critical applications.
- Gain end-to-end exposure from design to validation.
- Be part of a collaborative, high-calibre engineering team
- Contribute to technologies where failure is not an option
About the Role
Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking for aSupply Chain and External Manufacturing Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, procurement processes, and quality assurance efforts. This role includes external manufacturing responsibility by coordinating with suppliers working with internal departments to implement quality control measures to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of ZES semiconductor products.
Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure a seamless flow of materials, components, and finished products through our qualified vendors/Suppliers.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Lead procurement efforts to source the BOM and services efficiently while adhering to quality standards such as JEDEC, SPACE EP standards usingMIL-PRF-38535 QML Class V as reference.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor external factors, such as market trends and geopolitical events, that may impact the supply chain and quality. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards related to semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Monitor and control costs within the supply chain and quality functions to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
2. External Manufacturing:
- Establish and implement procurement strategies, including supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.
- Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including conducting audits to ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control procedures and standards in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Implement quality management systems, such as ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies, to drive continuous improvement at our outsourced partners like foundries and OSAT's.
- Conduct quality audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to address issues and improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for our products using data from outsourced partners.
Authorities
- Key decision maker in managing Foundries and OSAT's supply assurance and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, business, engineering or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of quality control methodologies, procurement best practices, and supply chain optimization in the semiconductor industry.
