As a Traffic Controller, you will play a key role in coordinating trucking movements, ensuring smooth operations, and keeping our drivers and customers connected. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving on the ground, this role is for you.
Monitor, regulate, and coordinate the movement of trucks, trailers, and containers to ensure smooth daily operations
Plan, prioritise, and schedule daily transport activities efficiently
Assign and deploy jobs to drivers based on operational requirements
Track job progress and ensure all assignments are completed within stipulated timelines
Maintain close coordination with drivers to monitor movements and address operational issues
Communicate effectively with drivers to manage feedback, challenges, and on-ground situations
Prepare, process, and manage operational and transport documentation accurately
Coordinate closely with Customer Service teams to support customer trucking requirements
Work collaboratively with internal teams to optimise manpower and fleet resources
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management in support of operations
Job Requirements
NITEC or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in coordinating or deploying drivers for containerised or loose cargo trucking operations
Good understanding of Singapore land transport regulations, routes, and logistics processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving operational environment
Meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented, with good analytical and problem-solving skills
