Role Description
The Traffic Controller will assign trucking to Prime Mover Drivers to truck containers ensure timely deliveries, efficient route planning and effective communication with drivers and clients.
Responsibilties
- Manage trucking activities to fulfill customers delivery requirement
- Provide real-time updates on job progress in the system
- Monitor truck and delivery status to optimize resources
- Coordinate container trucking consignments with Prime Mover Drivers and customers
- Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives for drivers
- Perform counseling to Prime Mover Drivers when necessary
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Higher Nitec or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs
- Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore
- Competent in Portnet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
