We are seeking a Trading Systems Support Engineer to join a leading global investment management firm. This role sits at the intersection of technology and trading, directly supporting portfolio management teams and ensuring that their trading strategies run smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities:
- Support portfolio managers and quant teams by ensuring smooth daily trading operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across trading systems.
- Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, reporting, and trade workflows.
- Automate processes to reduce operational risk and improve system reliability.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in systematic or electronic trading environments.
- Expert level Python development experience, with strong SQL skills.
- Solid experience with Java for backend development.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
- Ability to work directly with front-office teams, gather requirements, and deliver solutions quickly.
- Knowledge of equities, futures, FX, or other financial products.
- Experience with Kafka, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Background in designing distributed systems with C/C++, Scala, Go, or C#.
