Position overview
Within Treasury & Trading Asia (T&T Asia) department, under the supervision of the Senior Business Manager T&T Asia, the Trading Assistant shall provide trade support to T&T Asia teams - Asia Night Desk, FX Sales, Securities Execution, Securities Sales, Structured Products and Treasury - as well as assist the Senior Business Manager T&T Asia in his daily tasks.
Main responsibilities
T&T Asia operational support
- Provide operational and administrative support to T&T Asia teams
- Ensure real-time monitoring of Direct Access Clients (DAC) and Asian Night Desk (AND) clients positions in collaboration with FX Sales, Securities Sales, Structured Products and Asia Night Desk teams
- Handle specific administrative tasks related to DAC and AND activities (client on-boarding process, client list, etc.)
T&T Asia activity monitoring
- Produce daily P&L and statistics for T&T Asia activities
- Produce ad-hoc activities MI reports for all T&T Asia activities
- Elaborate and maintain dedicated activity monitoring tools
- Identify and suggest solutions to enhance FX and Securities services and overall T&T Asia operations
- Provide operational support and monitoring for Best Execution purposes
Activity scalability
- Keep clear and accurate records of all TRF/PTRF trades done
- Handle the operational and administrative workload arising from OTC Derivatives structures and Structured Products trading
- Elaborate and maintain dedicated activity monitoring tools to automate TRF/PTRF position management and fixing
- Identify and suggest solutions to enhance FX Sales efficiency
Business support
- Provide timely, accurate and information to T&T Asia teams
- Work closely with all key departments within the bank locally and globally ensuring all T&T Asia related matters can be resolved in a timely manner
- Develop a clear understanding of the business and the strategic objectives to support existing operations and growth initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with Market Finance or major in Mathematics
- Strong work ethic, patience and customer service-oriented skills
