Trade Support - Commodity (9 months maternity cover) #FR

Your new company
Client is a leading global investment banking, securities, asset, and wealth management firm. They are currently looking for a Trade Support Analyst (Middle Office) to join the team.

Your new role

• Operationally support the Commodities Business in APAC: Current setup & Initiatives
• Ensure that Commodity trades are reconciled with external source and rectify discrepancies on the same day so that trades are validate on T.
• Ensure that deals are properly interfaced from Front Office to Middle Office & Investigate if any issues.
• Ensure relevant documents are provided on warrant activity & do proper checks to make sure that transfer of ownership of cargo is done smoothly.
• Reconcile booking system position with warehouses statement on base Metal.
• Apply CIB group policy such as Amend & cancel and Technical Counterparties.
• Report on the fly to management on issues as soon as they arise.
• End of day issues reporting into Risk monitoring tool Orus.
• Comply with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have:

• 2 or more years of operations experience in financial services sector
• Bachelor Degree in accountancy, banking or finance
• Good product and capital markets knowledge across different asset classes
• Conversant with corporate events for Equities and/or Securities
