Trade/Senior Trade Executive, Transpacific

Summary:
Reporting to the Trade Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for overall commercial activities of your assigned service(s) from Asia with target to maximize revenue, liftings and profitability.We are looking for a motivated and pro-active individual who is a team player with the drive to grow in the shipping industry. Main Responsibilities:

• Assist the Gateway Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service(s) and geographic area(s)
• Assist both Regional and Head Offices in establishing pricing policy for Asia to your assigned area(s)
• Handle pricing and local tenders responses for defined services and Asia areas
• Monitor and analyze vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions and allocation prepared by the Head Office and then take necessary actions
• Monitor and analyze Agents&apos weekly vessel profile and weekly performance
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including international freight forwarders and agencies
• Proactively source for reliable market intelligence (rates/capacity adjustments) to stay on top of market changes

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma Holder, preferably in shipping, logistics management or business administration;
• Fresh grade or 1-2 years of working experience in the shipping / logistics / freight forwarding industry;
• Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Table), highly preferred
• Good market knowledge and computer skills;
• Strong communication skills and customer oriented
