A leading player in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to join their Singapore-based team. What youll do:

As a Trade Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness and supporting sales growth by executing impactful trade marketing campaigns. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging promotional activities that resonate with consumers. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring products are prominently displayed and accessible. By managing the end-to-end process of promotional material creation and distribution, you will help maintain a cohesive brand image throughout all retail environments. Your keen attention to market trends will enable you to identify emerging opportunities while your analytical skills will guide data-driven decisions for future campaigns.   • Plan and execute trade marketing activities that support sales objectives, including organising in-store promotions, sampling events, roadshows, and product launches across various retail channels.
  • Liaise effectively with external vendors and agencies to coordinate promotional activities, events, and sampling programmes that enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with modern trade, general trade, and food service channels to ensure optimal product placement and strong visibility within key outlets.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with retail partners by negotiating shelf space and securing promotional opportunities that maximise product exposure.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop engaging promotional materials, eye-catching in-store displays, and effective selling tools tailored to different customer segments.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of point-of-sale materials (POSM), ensuring consistent brand identity is maintained across all retail touchpoints.
  • Monitor competitors trade marketing initiatives and analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities for growth within the sector.
  • Conduct thorough post-promotion evaluations and return on investment (ROI) analyses to inform future strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Support budgeting processes for promotions as well as inventory planning for trade marketing programmes and product samples.

The ideal candidate for the Trade Marketing Executive position brings proven experience from similar roles within FMCG or related industries. Your background equips you with practical knowledge of how trade marketing functions operate at both strategic and tactical levels. You have developed strong interpersonal skills through regular collaboration with diverse teamsranging from sales colleagues to external agency partnersand understand how effective communication underpins successful project delivery.   • Hold a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field which provides you with foundational knowledge relevant to this role.
  • Bring 13 years of experience in trade marketing, sales support, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), ideally within the food & beverage sector for added insight into industry nuances.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge coupled with genuine enthusiasm for Korean food culture, allowing you to connect authentically with both customers and partners.
  • Possess excellent analytical abilities alongside problem-solving skills that enable you to interpret data effectively and contribute valuable insights for campaign optimisation.
  • Showcase outstanding organisational skills paired with clear communication abilities so you can coordinate multiple projects efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Display a proactive approach combined with meticulous attention to your ability to anticipate needs ensures smooth execution of all initiatives whether working independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerP prior experience conducting data analysis is considered an advantage for this position.
  • Proficient in Korean Language will be a plus to ease the communication with Korean counterparts.
