Role Overview
In this role, you play a pivotal role in SEA commercial activities for Red Sea Trade. Your principal mission is to drive the development of commercial strategies aimed at optimizing line profitability and increasing market share across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the pricing policy for assigned trades in Southeast Asia (SEA) and part of China, ensuring alignment with profitability and market share growth objectives.
  • Implement and monitor pricing strategies to optimize yields based on market conditions, supply-demand dynamics, and route capacity.
  • Establish and manage cargo allocation for SEA countries, tracking and analyzing weekly performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Drive and steer area performance by exceeding key KPIs and ensuring execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Lead yield management initiatives to maximize revenue through capacity utilization and route optimization.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy from agents to support effective planning and resource allocation.
  • Support and manage the agent network with the help of the team, focusing on performance optimization, target achievement, and promotion of the Group's digital platform.
  • Oversee key account management, assist in the IFF budget preparation, and monitor YTD performance against budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IFF regarding pricing negotiations, tender management, and resolution of service or operational issues.
  • Define the marketing strategy for the assigned Line and identify local or regional actions to support commercial goals.
  • Conduct and analyze market studies to track trade developments and propose relevant business actions accordingly.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum Diploma holder or above, preferably in Shipping, Logistics Management, or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of experience in the maritime industry
  • Proficient in MS Excel i.e. VLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Good market knowledge and computer skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
