JOB DESCRIPTION- TECHNICIAN

FOR SINGAPORE JURONG LINE PROJECT(ROLLING STOCK)

Introduction:

As a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Rotem Company (Singapore Branch) has been manufacturing and supplying various types of completed vehicles such as electric trains (MRT/LRT), high-speed trains, diesel, locomotives, and passenger/wagon vehicles to 38 countries. By developing core electronic components for railway system, we are producing train information and management system, traction motors, propulsion control system, and auxiliary power system. Recently, we are expanding our business to not only railway vehicles, but also railway system fields such as signalling, communication, power, and PSD, as well as railway service fields such as operation, vehicle maintenance, retrofit, and supply of parts.

In addition to supplying maintenance services for various types of railway vehicles, such as electric trains (MRT/LRT) and high-speed trains, both at domestic and abroad, we are realizing customer satisfaction throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle.

The work is being carried out through collaboration with LTA and various contractors in Singapore, and we are looking for talented people who can directly participate in vehicle design and system integration for new JRL (Jurong Region Line) to gain various experiences and develop your capabilities.

Responsibilities:

. To assist and implement of Standard Operating Procedures

(SOP) as and where necessary

. To co-ordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance works

schedule with the contract and client

. To inspect works carried out and liaising and managing contractors

. To edit and provide feedback to T &C Engineer should there be any issues

. To conduct Trouble shooting and fault finding

Skills & Education:

. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/

Engineering (Mechanical), Nitec or equivalent.

. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required

for this position.

. Computer literate and possess good interpersonal and

communication skills

. Possess strong initiative and good analytical skills

. A committed and responsible team player with pleasant personality,

independent and resourceful

. Must be based in Singapore
