We are looking for a highly experienced Test Manager cum Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong exposure to Treasury and FX (Foreign Exchange) systems.
About the Role
This role will drive end-to-end test strategy, delivery governance, and agile execution, ensuring high-quality releases across treasury platforms, trading systems, and risk applications. The ideal candidate should be able to bridge business, testing, and delivery, while managing stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, and Technology teams.
Responsibilities
Test Management & Quality Assurance
- Define and implement enterprise-level test strategy for Treasury & FX platforms
- Manage end-to-end testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance)
- Lead test planning, estimation, defect management, and reporting
- Ensure coverage across:
- FX Trading (Spot, Forward, Swaps)
- Treasury products (MM, Bonds, Derivatives)
- Risk & regulatory reporting
- Drive automation strategy and improve test efficiency
Project Management / Delivery Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of Treasury/FX projects
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Provide regular governance updates (RAID, status, metrics)
Scrum Master / Agile Delivery
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives)
- Remove blockers and drive continuous delivery improvements
- Manage product backlog and sprint execution
- Ensure collaboration across cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Business)
- Drive Agile best practices and maturity
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Engage with Treasury, FX Traders, Risk, and Operations teams
- Translate business requirements into test scenarios and delivery plans
- Act as a single point of contact for testing and delivery
- Manage communication across regional/global teams
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Treasury & FX domain
- FX: Spot, Forward, Swap
- Treasury: Money Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives
- Understanding of risk systems (VaR, PFE, FRTB) is a plus
Required Skills
Experience as Test Manager / QA Lead in banking projects
Strong knowledge of:
- Test lifecycle & methodologies
- Defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM)
- Automation frameworks
Proven experience as:
- Project Manager OR
- Scrum Master (Agile delivery)
- Strong understanding of:
- Agile / Scrum / Hybrid delivery models
- Stakeholder and vendor management
Preferred Skills
Exposure to systems such as:
Knowledge of:
- SQL / data validation
- Integration testing (APIs, batch jobs, Control-M)
10–15+ years in banking / financial services IT
5+ years in Test Management / Delivery roles
Proven experience in Treasury / FX projects
