Test Manager (Java, Selenium, QTP, TestNG, Mobile Banking, Payment, Authentication

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end software delivery including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Drive application optimization, availability, and reliability across digital and mobile platforms.
• Coordinate release planning, environment readiness, and post-go-live support for major and minor rollouts.
• Govern application compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
• Lead and manage team of developers, analysts, and QA engineers
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release reviews.
• Prepare progress reports, performance dashboards, and readiness documentation for program stakeholders.
• Define testing strategies for SIT, UAT, regression, and performance cycles.
• Supervise test planning, data preparation, test execution, and quality sign-offs.
• Enhance,automation coverage for web, mobile, and backend systems using tools such as Selenium, QTP, TestNG, and HP ALM.
• Ensure traceability across requirements, test scenarios, and release outcomes.
• Implement controls to meet security standards, data protection guidelines, and MAS compliance requirements.
• Support authentication and authorization initiatives including passwordless login technologies such as FIDO2/WebAuthn.
• Monitor application risks, raise mitigation plans, and ensure adherence to organizational governance frameworks.
• Promote automation, process optimization, and tooling enhancements to drive faster and more reliable releases.
• Encourage adoption of DevOps practices and structured deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve overall testing and delivery competencies within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 13-15 years of strong experience in testing and managing enterprise systems using Java, .NET, SQL, Oracle, DB2, and MySQL.
• Strong experience in Banking platform is required, should have worked in mobile banking platforms for multiple markets
• Strong experience in FX services, Payments, fund transfers, and customer experience platforms.
• PMP Certification is mandatory for this role
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as FIDO2/WebAuthn, biometrics, and device-based authentication.
• Experience in developing and overseeing digital channels such as mobile banking apps, card services modules, and authentication platforms.
• Good experience in automation testing frameworks (QTP, Selenium, TestNG) and test management tools (ALM, JIRA, etc).
• Familiarity with web technologies including ASP, HTML, DHTML, VB Script, IIS.
