Service Sales Specialist__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the local sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing high‑quality technical and commercial offers. Each day, you will determine the most technically appropriate and cost‑effective solutions, define costs, prepare final documentation, and act as a key technical resource during customer interactions. You will also showcase your expertise by analyzing customer needs and competitor offerings, as well as performing lost proposal analysis to continuously improve future results.
The work model for the role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service in Singapore. Main stakeholders include the local sales organization, customers, feeder factories, and internal engineering and project teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in identifying technically appropriate, cost‑effective solutions and preparing competitive technical and commercial offers.
Analyzing customer requirements and competitor offerings, including performing lost proposal analysis to improve future bid success.
Defining solution costs and providing clear commercial inputs to the Sales organization.
Supporting risk review processes, project kick‑off activities, and customer engagements through technical meetings, presentations, negotiations, and training.

Qualifications for the role:
Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal engineering, sales support, tendering, or a similar technical role.
Strong ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into compliant, competitive technical solutions.
Solid understanding of costing, pricing fundamentals, and technical/commercial documentation.
Experience working collaboratively with Sales, factories, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
