Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Tender team and participate in tendering civil and infrastructure projects
  • Involved in the preliminary stage, design & tender stage, construction stage to ensure delivery of the project.
  • Preparation of technical specifications and submissions of civil engineering work.
  • Involving in the feasibility study and construction planning, and ensuring delivery of services accordingly to client's requirements.
  • Facilitate tender submission including coordinating with tender team, internal and external stakeholders, consultants, authorities on project requirements.
  • Overseeing the construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
  • Coordinate all related construction matters with subcontractor/consultant/client.
  • Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors on the site activities.
  • Prepare report and method statement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of Tender experience on MRT Projects in Singapore
  • Must be recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer
  • Candidates must have experience in managing and constructing deep underground MRT stations, Launch shaft, cut and cover tunnels, foundations, earth retaining & stabilising structures, traffic and utilities diversion, and Addition & Alteration works to existing MRT structures, and have the capability of performing precise surveys and control alignments.
  • Candidates should have architectural knowledge and relevant experiences in procurements, programming, site co-ordination and installation of architectural works.
  • Candidates shall also have experience coordinating with public transport operators, LTA SWCs and various agencies/authorities, familiar with the requirements and limitations of carrying out construction within or adjacent to operational railway facilities and be able to plan and sequence the works to meet the schedule of completion dates.
