Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals, APAC demand, and margin targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimise cost, quality, and service outcomes
- Establish and track procurement KPIs, including cost savings, contract coverage, service level performance, quality issues, and risk mitigation
- Design vendor selection processes and evaluate potential suppliers based on pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
- Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring continuous improvement and effective supplier partnerships
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable commercial terms with vendors
- Ensure product quality meets procurement requirements and relevant quality standards
- Review procurement audits, trade documentation, and contract terms to mitigate procurement risks
- Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Support new product development (NPD) commercialisation through supplier feasibility assessment, costing, and trial coordination
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier readiness, compliance, and launch execution
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of procurement management experience in FMCG or a brand owner environment
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, cost optimisation, and supplier performance management
- Experience supporting NPD commercialisation with OEM or contract manufacturers, including feasibility studies, costing, and trial coordination
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple local and regional initiatives concurrently
