Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (ACMV) to oversee site execution and material management for ACMV works for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage site installation works for ACMV systems including ducting, piping and equipment
- Plan, prepare and manage material requisitions in accordance with project specifications and schedule
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Supervise site activities and ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings and method statements
- Liaise with main contractor, consultants and other trades for coordination and progress of works
- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment and site productivity
- Review shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation
- Resolve site technical issues and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Assist in testing and commissioning of ACMV systems
- Prepare progress reports and support project documentation
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ACMV works, with strong site experience
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of ACMV systems including ducting, chilled water systems and ventilation systems
- Experience in material requisition, procurement coordination and project planning
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Familiar with local codes, standards and site practices in Singapore
- Willing to work at Tuas project site
