Work Schedule

Monday to Saturday: 10am to 5pm (3 days a week, must work on Saturday)

JOB PURPOSE

The Tele-recruiter is the vital frontline voice of the National Blood Programme. You play a critical, life-saving role in maintaining national blood stock levels by proactively reaching out to donors, booking appointments, recalling donors during critical shortages, and delivering an exceptional, informative experience to every donor you speak with.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Tele-Recruitment & Enquiries: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to recall lapsed donors and drive appointment bookings. Professionally handle inbound calls, assisting donors with eligibility criteria and general enquiries.

2. Donor Recognition Support: Proactively call milestone donors regarding upcoming recognition events or merchandise. On an ad-hoc basis, act as a frontline ambassador by conducting face-to-face merchandise handovers at Red Cross House.

3. Data Management & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely data entry of donor call logs, appointments, and deferrals into the donor portal, and compile these metrics for the daily operational report.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:

. GCE O Level, NITEC, or equivalent. Current students and retirees are highly encouraged to apply.

Required Experience, Skills, And Knowledge:

. Communication: Exceptional verbal skills to engage diverse communities. The ability to speak conversational Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is a strong added advantage.

. Resilience: Comfortable handling high-volume outbound calls, managing objections, and adapting to fast-paced priority shifts during national blood shortages.

. Professionalism: Maintains a warm, polished demeanour for both phone-based recruitment and ad-hoc face-to-face interactions.

. Technical & Admin: Proficient in basic computer functions, navigating donor portals, and detail-oriented data entry.

. Availability: Willingness to work on Saturdays to conduct weekend tele-recruitment and drive appointment bookings via phone.

Note: Previous experience in customer service, call centres, or administrative support is an added advantage.
