We are looking for a seasoned Technology Delivery Lead / Project Manager to own and drive end-to-end delivery of Real-Time Payments initiatives across APAC and global portfolios for our client, a leading global investment bank. This role requires a strong leader with deep expertise in managing APAC programs, regional regulatory landscapes and complex, multi-country deliveries.
The ideal candidate will bring strong program governance, hands-on project planning capabilities, and the ability to oversee all stages ( including but not limited to requirements, design, build etc) to ensure successful, compliant, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of Real-Time Payments programs, including instant payments, ISO 20022 transformations, and cross-border payment initiatives
- Lead and manage APAC-focused programs, ensuring alignment with country-specific regulatory and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation
- Drive program governance, execution, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects
- Oversee end-to-end testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, regression), ensuring quality and readiness for production releases
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and Testing teams to deliver scalable, resilient payment solutions
- Act as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies
- Manage vendor and third-party engagements to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Ensure adherence to regional regulatory, compliance, and security requirements across APAC markets
- Track and manage KPIs, budgets, timelines, and resource planning
- Champion Agile/Hybrid delivery models, driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience in technology delivery, with strong exposure to Real-Time Payments / Payments domain
- Proven experience managing APAC projects and multi-country program delivery
- Strong understanding of regional regulatory frameworks in APAC payments ecosystems
- Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and delivery tracking
- Experience overseeing testing lifecycle and quality assurance processes
- Deep understanding of payment systems, APIs, and integration architectures
- Experience managing distributed teams and global stakeholders
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global banking or fintech organizations
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Agile certifications
