Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, collate, and understand business requirements
• Produce clear and detailed user stories, business analysis, and functional specifications for subsequent implementation in Market & ALM risk systems
• Plan and construct project timelines, sprint goals, and collaborate with technology partners to deliver solutions through an Agile framework
• Devise comprehensive test plans (including test scenarios and test cases) to validate system deliverables
• Conduct and manage User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing, and Live verifications to ensure system deliverables meet business requirements
• Provide necessary support to users in BAU context and system enhancements to ensure the solution is maintained and utilized for business outcomes
• Develop Data API, design and create corresponding data visualization widgets using in-house toolsets (RDI)
• Create and maintain all required documentation pertaining to data flow, design, and process changes to a high standard for audit readiness and knowledge transfer
• Drive engagement with business intelligence and digital teams to deliver business outcomes such as streamlined and structured data models, standardized UI/UX for analytical dashboards, reporting, and embedding gen-AI related tools into various digital initiatives within Market and ALM Risk domain

Requirements

• Degree or Master in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or Quantitative Finance discipline
• At least 3 to 8 years of relevant working experience as a business analyst, product owner, or scrum-master, familiar with system implementations and project roll-outs
• Proficient in SQL and database design, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools; comfortable working with large datasets
• Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Possess understanding and working experience in Market and/or ALM Risk domain and able to demonstrate knowledge of relevant frameworks such as FRTB, VaR, Sensitivity, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB, MCO risk measures
• Prior experience in implementing innovative digital/Artificial-Intelligence solutions is an advantage
