As a Layout Technologist, you will drive the tactical planning and execution of tool move-in through collaboration with operations, logistics and relevant vendors. You will ensure that layout drawing is matched with factory site location and seamless workflow and communication in getting tools in to the designated location within the schedules for supporting factory ramp
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct site assessments in collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. Tool Owners, Facilities teams) prior to equipment move-in to ensure plans are feasible and executable on-site.
Perform move path assessments, including First-Of-A-Kind (FOAK) equipment, to ensure safe, feasible, and executable movement within the fab.
Execute datum marking and verification activities to ensure alignment with layout and installation requirements.
Manage furniture, safety devices, and temporary staging within the fab.
Coordinate with contractors on equipment move-in and move-out activities within the fab.
Communicate and escalate tool layout constraints or on-site assessment issues to Layout Engineers in a timely manner.
Other Responsibilities:
Deploy appropriate AI-driven solutions in achieving effective and efficient outcomes for self and teams
Job Requirements/Qualification
Diploma in Engineering
Must Have Technical Skills
Willingness to work on-site on a regular basis in both cleanroom and noncleanroom environments, including compliance with required attire such as smocks and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic issues and identify root causes.
Must Have Soft Skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned tasks.
Strong time management and task prioritization skills in a dynamic, onsite environment.
Proven teamwork skills with a strong emphasis on collaboration and effective team dynamics.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for coordination with stakeholders and contractors.
. Highly Desirable/Preferred skills or experience
Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Adaptable and responsive to a wide range of onsite issues, with the ability to propose practical solutions.
Basic capability in data extraction, analysis, and reporting to support operational activities.
Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment, fab operations, and manufacturing processes.

Responsible for monitoring tool performance and scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on your assigned area's equipment. Use mechanical and electronic skills to troubleshoot and repair down equipment. Assist with equipment installs and upgrades and create and modify equipment procedures. Work to increase tool uptime through systematic problem-solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and routine reviews of maintenance checklists and procedures.
