Job Description

As an Assembly Scheduler at MSB/MSH, your key responsibility is to ensure wafer loadings are scheduled promptly to meet production goals. You will support Product Planners in establishing and maintaining production plans, managing scheduling activities, and assisting with line management to ensure production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Production Planning Support

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining production plans.

  • Support Planners in analyzing and generating production plans.

  • Assist in developing plans to fulfil demand signals.

  • Support shipment planning to Assembly Subcontractors in coordination with Subcontractor Planners.

Production Scheduling & Control

  • Review wafer bank inventory and track in‑transit wafer shipments initiate priority shipments when required.

  • Identify and schedule wafer starts to meet production requirements, including wafer sales.

  • Schedule wafers for shipment to Assembly Subcontractors.

  • Perform small‑quantity lot merging based on Product Engineering merging criteria prior to releasing lots to the production floor.

  • Support engineering builds based on requirements such as hot lots, qualifications, evaluations, and samples.

Line Management Support

  • Update production plans to support manufacturing and equipment teams in meeting production goals.

  • Track and monitor WIP movement and production output to ensure targets are met.

  • Expedite material movement and load additional lots when required.

  • Assist Planners in tracking production plan misses and backfilling into subsequent weekly plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering or relevant.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Able to work on 12 hours shift (including night shift)

    Plans, schedules, coordinates, and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
