TECHNICIAN / TRAINEE TECHNICIAN

Aerospace Component Engineering Services (ACES) Pte Ltd is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Parker Aerospace specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves and flight controls for commercial aircraft.

As we enter a new phase of business growth and gearing up for new generation aircraft to support customers mainly in the Asia Pacific region, we are inviting suitable candidates to apply for the post of TECHNICIAN/TRAINEE TECHNICIAN for this exciting role as part of the Operations Team.

We require individuals with a high level of initiative, self-motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, to fulfil the role that involves testing, disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of state-of-the-art hydro-mechanical aircraft components.

ACES will develop employees and equip them with hands-on skills and knowledge through training programs developed in-house or industry specific courses.

The ideal candidate should possess the following requirements to be considered for this position:

• ITC or Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical or Mechatronics or relevant discipline obtained from a recognized institution
• Fresh graduates will be considered for the post as well
• Practical experience (disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and acceptance testing) of mechanical and electro-mechanical components would be preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to interpret electrical wiring schematics, hydraulic system schematics and single-line diagrams
• Proficiency in the English language such as reading and simple reporting are required
• Working knowledge of MS-Office applications on Windows platform.
