Job Summary

You will deliver expert technical services by installing, configuring, and maintaining printers and copier machines, driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure printers and printing software to ensure optimal device performance and user experience
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime for customers
  • Service printer and copier products onsite, including setup of new copier machines for installation
  • Repair and maintain copier machines to extend equipment lifespan and reliability
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on basic machine maintenance to empower user self-sufficiency
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by ordering and updating stock levels of toners and spare parts
  • Monitor and enhance stock handling procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce losses
  • Submit monthly meter readings to the billing department accurately and on time
  • Evaluate equipment performance using key metrics such as setup time and overhaul quantity to inform continuous improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports for management to support decision-making and operational oversight
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior to support team and business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Valid driving or motor license (advantageous for onsite service mobility)
  • Experience in stock handling to support inventory accuracy and control
  • Proficiency in MS Office and workshop equipment to facilitate reporting and technical tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Positive and patient attitude to maintain professionalism in customer service and problem resolution
