Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Hotel & Project Site Technician to support the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of electronic door lock systems, room control systems, and related hospitality technologies across hotels and project sites in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Install electronic door lock systems and room control systems at hotel and project sites to ensure operational readiness
  • Configure, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic hotel door lock systems, room control systems, hospitality-related hardware and software, and associated network devices and controllers
  • Attend onsite service calls, maintenance works, and project installations at hotels and project locations
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine system health checks to sustain optimal functionality
  • Diagnose technical faults and provide timely rectification to minimize operational downtime
  • Coordinate with hotel operators, contractors, vendors, and internal teams regarding system installations and support matters
  • Assist in project implementation, testing, commissioning, and system handovers
  • Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and project documentation accurately
  • Ensure all work complies with workplace safety requirements and company procedures
  • Provide standby technical support and respond promptly to urgent breakdowns when required
  • Apply relevant technical knowledge and practical experience to support hospitality technology systems across multiple sites
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to operational and technical issues within the Singapore hospitality industry

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines
  • Knowledge and experience within the Singapore hospitality industry
  • Willingness to work on rotational standby schedules, including weekends, public holidays, and after-office hours support
  • Ability to be contactable and respond promptly during standby duty periods
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites and hotels across Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel door lock systems, room control systems, hospitality systems, or related low-voltage systems
  • Familiarity with hospitality brands and systems such as dormakaba, Saflok, Interel, Salto, VingCard, or equivalent systems
  • Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Singapore Class 3 driving licence
  • Positive working attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-service oriented and able to work professionally within hotel environments
  • Ability to handle urgent operational situations calmly and efficiently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in operational hotel environments

Working Hours & Standby Requirements

  • Candidate must be willing to work on rotational standby schedules, including weekends, public holidays, and after-office hours support when required
  • Weekend and standby duties will be assigned based on operational requirements and team rotation schedules
  • Candidate must be contactable and able to respond promptly during standby duty periods
  • Flexible to commute daily to project sites
