Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: 1-year extendable contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product guides, tutorials, code starter kits, technical blogs, and demos for CI/CD, Containers, and Monitoring products.
- Simplify complex technical concepts into clear and accurate documentation for developers.
- Work with product managers, designers, and developers to define content strategy.
- Lead pilots to evaluate content formats and build a cadence for documentation.
- Ensure consistency, timely updates, and continuous improvement of content.
- Research industry trends and bring in best practices from leading tech players.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in technical writing for developers/technical users. (More than 10 years considered for senior role.)
- Experience documenting cloud-based products or familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with well-known style guides.
- Preferred: Background in IT/software development, experience with graphics/video content.
