About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Support & Documentation Executive to strengthen our technical review, supplier coordination and quality documentation functions.
This role acts as a key technical bridge between overseas manufacturers, internal operations teams and healthcare customers in Singapore. It includes technical documentation review, supplier communication and coordination with hospitals, and is suitable for candidates with a scientific background who are transitioning into the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Product Support
- Review and support evaluation of technical documentation, including material specifications, certificates of analysis, technical data sheets and test reports
- Assist in identifying discrepancies and coordinate with senior team members for resolution
- Build working knowledge of the product portfolio, including device structure, material composition (e.g. polymers, metals, coatings, silicones), intended clinical use and handling requirements
- Support customer enquiries related to product usage, material compatibility and handling
Supplier & Overseas Coordination
- Liaise with overseas manufacturers on technical documentation, product specifications and quality-related matters
- Support communication with China-based suppliers in Mandarin and international suppliers in English
- Translate and reconcile technical documentation between Chinese and English
- Coordinate sampling, product updates and documentation alignment across regions
- Participate in overseas business trips where required to support supplier meetings, product discussions and training
Quality Documentation & Hospital Liaison
- Maintain product documentation, technical files and inspection records in accordance with company procedures
- Support preparation of responses to HSA enquiries, hospital requirements and quality questionnaires
- Liaise with hospital stakeholders on product documentation, technical clarification and follow-ups
- Track documentation gaps and support resolution with suppliers
Business & Operational Support
- Support business coordination activities, including preparation of materials for meetings with suppliers, hospitals and partners
- Assist in coordinating schedules, travel arrangements and logistics for business-related activities and overseas engagements
- Provide operational support to ensure smooth execution of cross-functional activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science or a related scientific discipline
- Laboratory or research experience involving material characterisation, synthesis or analytical techniques (e.g. spectroscopy, chromatography, NMR)
- Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation practices
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals or diagnostics
- Experience supporting technical documentation, regulatory submissions or supplier correspondence
- Working knowledge of an additional European language (e.g. French or German) to support communication with European suppliers
- This role requires occasional overseas travel to support supplier engagement, product discussions and training activities
