We are a Singapore-based FSU and tug operator seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee a fleet of eight tugboats and one supply tug, all operating within the PTP/Johor/Kukup Port Anchorages. JD is as follows:
1. To co-ordinate between tugs and office regarding all maintenance repairs and assists in crew matters if required.
2. To monitor and enforce vessels PMS.
3. Monitor vessels survey status and arrange for class surveys in due time.
4. To prepare docking specification for quotation by the respective shipyards, subcontractors and follow up on docking/repairs.
5. To ensure that individual vessel has an inventory on spare parts. To authorize spare requisitions and shore repairs.
6. To carry out trouble shooting based on feedback from Master / Chief engineer.
7. To conduct bi-yearly inspection of vessel and ensure proper compliance to her class / statutory regulations and company safety management requirements. To Monitor shipboard drill performance and conduct Superintendent / Ship Staff Safety Meeting during vessel's Technical Inspection.
8. To be responsible for rectifying any deficiency found on board from time-to-time from internal / external audits inspections.
9. To report / investigate accidents / machinery failure and to take preventive actions from recurring.
10. To maintain technical records and files for performance monitoring and cost analysis. Review monthly main engine and auxiliary engines performance data and guide Chief Engineer to maintain optimum performance. Keeping records of surveys, fuel oil and lube oil analysis results, take necessary corrective action if required.
11. To review & respond to the Monthly Shipboard Management Meeting.
12. Monitor vessels condition of class and arrange for repair with class surveyor's verification.
13. To monitor MR raised by ship, approve and supervsing for prompt and efficient supply.
14. To monitor RR raised by ships and arrange repairs and services according to company procedures.
