Oversee day-to-day technical management of assigned vessels, including maintenance, repairs, and dry-dockings.
Ensure compliance with flag state, class, statutory regulations, and company technical standards.
Manage planned maintenance systems (PMS), defect reporting, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with shipyards, service providers, makers, and suppliers for repairs and spares.
Prepare and control technical budgets, monitor costs, and ensure cost-effective execution.
Provide technical support to vessels, Masters, and Chief Engineers, including troubleshooting and incident follow-ups.
Participate in dry-dock planning, execution, and post-dock evaluation.
Work closely with HSQE, operations, and commercial teams to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Review technical performance data and implement improvement initiatives.
Class 1 or Class 2 Marine Engineer Certificate, or equivalent maritime engineering qualification.
Prior experience as a Technical Superintendent managing tanker vessels is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems, dry-docking, and regulatory requirements.
Good budgeting, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple vessels simultaneously.
