Job Description & Requirements
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for either mechanical / electrical / both mechanical & electrical assembly checkout of equipment modules, assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Set-up production equipment and run final integration and test
- Assemble production equipment based on manufacturing work instructions, mechanical drawings (or/and electrical wiring /wire harnessing based on circuitry blueprints and work instructions)
- Perform final test to qualify equipment performance before customer buy-off.
- Assist the Manufacturing Engineers in trouble shooting and improving on assembly efficiency to reduce cost
- Carry out good housekeeping and work safety instructions
MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher NITEC / Diploma level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
- Minimum 2 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
- Preferably from semiconductor / general automation background.
