Technical Specialist (Assembly)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly and checkout of semiconductor equipment modules, assemblies and sub-assemblies.

• Assemble and integrate custom equipment systems based on manufacturing work instructions, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

• Conduct system integration and final equipment testing to verify performance before internal acceptance or customer buy-off.

• Support Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting and improving machine assembly efficiency.

• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with workplace safety requirements.

MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher NITEC / Diploma level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
• Minimum 2 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
• Preferably from semiconductor / general automation background.
