Our client is a leading provider of offshore and industrial hydraulic solutions. They are looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support by analyzing customer needs, recommending suitable hydraulic/offshore solutions, and assisting with proposals and quotations.
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements, deliver product consultations, and conduct presentations or training sessions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions and ensure specifications and performance requirements are met.
- Deliver troubleshooting and after-sales support, including installation assistance, problem resolution, and system upgrades.
- Maintain product expertise and market awareness through updated technical knowledge, documentation, and competitor/market analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales support or engineering roles in the offshore, hydraulics, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, offshore equipment, and machinery used in the offshore industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software, CAD systems, and other engineering tools for technical documentation and product design will be preferred.
