The role:
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for both sales and pre-sales and product
specification. The candidate is required to provide customers with technical advice on the use
of the products and to exploit market opportunities leading to increased brand
awareness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible overall for the growth and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
- Execute plans and strategies in liaison with Sales & Marketing Manager to expand the customer base in the marketing area.
- Build business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients.
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the
- industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
What we are looking for:
- An active sales hunter and pragmatic, result driven with eye for detail and ability to be both strategic and detail orientated.
- Technical product knowledge in building materials/construction accessories, with wide network of contractors consultants / engineers.
- Ability to lead commercial teams including customer relationship management; pricing; and providing constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with and manage at all levels in the organization.
